1-Year Multiple-Entry Umrah Visa & Re-Entry Guide
How Re-Entry Works, Same Company Package Rules & Critical Non-Transferability Restrictions
Core Framework
Understanding How the Visa Actually Works
Most Umrah eVisas are single-entry. This guide only applies if your visa grant explicitly says multiple-entry — check the entries field on your visa before planning a return trip.
The 4-Stage Re-Entry Cycle
ONE VISA
Valid for 365 Days from issuance date
MULTIPLE VISITS
Enter & exit Saudi Arabia multiple times
SAME CO. PACKAGE & PERMIT
Must use original visa company on Nusuk
90-DAY CUMULATIVE LIMIT
Total days combined across all visits
IMPORTANT: Cumulative 90-Day Limit
A 1-year visa validity does NOT mean 90 days of stay on every visit. The maximum stay is 90 DAYS CUMULATIVE across the entire visa validity period. Previously used days reduce your remaining allowance.
RE-ENTRY IS NOT AUTOMATIC
Before every return to Saudi Arabia, the pilgrim must satisfy the applicable regulatory requirements for that specific visit—including an approved Umrah service package and a valid Nusuk permit.
Same Umrah Visa Company Rule & Non-Transferability Warning
A very important part of the re-entry process is buying your new Umrah package on Nusuk from the EXACT SAME Saudi Umrah visa company that processed your Umrah visa for your first visit. In current practice you generally cannot switch Umrah companies for return visits — confirm with us before booking, as this rule is not formally published.
Non-Transferable Visas: Currently, an active Umrah visa cannot be cancelled or transferred to another Umrah visa company in Saudi Arabia once issued.
Company Blacklisting Risk: This can become a major issue if your original Umrah visa company is subsequently deactivated or blacklisted by Saudi authorities for regulatory non-compliance. In such cases, you will be restricted from purchasing a package on Nusuk and unable to re-enter Saudi Arabia on that visa.
Step-by-Step Process
How Re-Entry Works for Subsequent Visits
Follow this official 9-step timeline every time you plan a return journey to Saudi Arabia under your 1-year visa.
Check Your Visa Validity
Confirm the original visa issuance date and calculate the remaining validity period to ensure your intended stay falls fully within the 365-day window.
Check Your Remaining Stay Balance
Track how many of your cumulative 90 days have already been used on previous visits. Remember: previously used days reduce your remaining allowance.
Plan Your Next Umrah Visit
Select intended travel dates. Ensure your intended stay fits within both the visa's remaining validity and your remaining stay balance allowance.
Purchase Package from SAME Umrah Visa Company
Every visit requires a new approved service package on Nusuk. Crucial Rule: You MUST purchase this package through the exact same Saudi Umrah visa company that originally processed your visa. You cannot switch companies or transfer your visa.
Obtain the Umrah Permit Through Nusuk
The pilgrim must obtain the required Umrah permit through the official Nusuk app before travelling. Permit dates should align with your approved package.
Complete Travel & Immigration Prep
Confirm passport validity (185+ days), active visa status, airline booking, return flight ticket, and current entry regulations.
Enter Saudi Arabia
Proceed through border passport control. Immigration authorities determine final admissibility at the point of entry.
Complete Visit & Depart
Departure updates your visa status and reduces your remaining cumulative stay balance. The visa becomes deactivated/inactive after departure until reactivated.
For Next Visit: Repeat Same Provider Cycle
Repeat the package purchase (with your original company) + Nusuk permit + eligibility verification process for any subsequent visit within the remaining valid duration.
Clarifying Facts
Common Misunderstandings (Myths vs. Reality)
Review these key distinctions to ensure your return travel remains compliant with Saudi Ministry rules.
"I can stay 90 days every time I re-enter."
The visa provides a cumulative stay allowance of up to 90 days total during its 365-day validity period, not a fresh 90 days per entry.
"Once I have the visa, I don't need another Umrah booking."
A new approved Umrah service package is required for each visit before returning to Saudi Arabia.
"I can buy my return package from any agency or transfer my visa."
Subsequent packages MUST be bought through the SAME original Umrah visa company. Visas cannot be transferred or cancelled in Saudi Arabia.
"I can simply arrive at the airport and enter because my visa is still valid."
Each re-entry remains subject to applicable requirements, including the required Umrah permit through Nusuk and other travel/entry requirements.
"The visa works throughout the entire year without interruption."
The visa cannot be used for entry during the applicable Hajj restriction period established annually by Saudi authorities.
