The 1448 AH Umrah season is already open: Umrah visas have been issued and pilgrims have been arriving since 31 May 2026. For pilgrims travelling from India, the dates that matter most are the end dates. Your visa must be issued by 9 March 2027, you must enter Saudi Arabia by 23 March 2027, and you must leave by 7 April 2027.

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah published the calendar for the 1448 AH season on 17 May 2026, and the Saudi Press Agency reported the same dates. The Ministry gives each date in both the Hijri and the Gregorian calendar.

Umrah pilgrims must enter Saudi Arabia by 23 March 2027 (15 Shawwal 1448 AH). A visa issued before 9 March does not allow entry after this date. Book your flight from India so that you land on or before 23 March.
When must Umrah pilgrims leave Saudi Arabia?
The last departure date for Umrah pilgrims is 7 April 2027 (30 Shawwal 1448 AH). Your return flight should leave on or before this date, even if your trip started late in the season. What do these dates mean for a Ramadan Umrah in 2027?
Ramadan 1448 AH ends just before 1 Shawwal, so it falls inside the season. The last visa date is 1 Shawwal itself. If you plan to be in Makkah for the end of Ramadan, your visa must be issued by 9 March 2027. If you plan to stay on after Eid, you must still leave by 7 April 2027. Where does the Nusuk permit fit in?
